ABSTRACT Within the framework of the observer-dependent theory of everything (ODTOE), a structural investigation of the number 666 is undertaken as an archetypal pattern in observation dynamics. It is shown that in the architecture of the minimal act of observation, the number 666 corresponds to three complete cycles Φn without reaching a self-affine fixed point Ψ∗ = Φ(Ψ∗ ). The computation of the digital root (6 + 6 + 6 = 18 → 1 + 8 = 9) is interpreted as an operation of b O), b actualizing the potential nine embedded in the structure of self-observation over the cycle O( three sixes. Parallels are established with the problem of the open loop in artificial intelligence, with the automatism of existence, and with the archetype of fear regarding the number 666 in religious tradition. An ODTOE-interpretation of the transformation from state 666 to state 9 is proposed as a transition from unconscious repetition to reflexive awareness of one’s own cyclicity. I. ARITHMETIC AND STRUCTURAL ARCHITECTURE OF THE NUMBER 666 1.1. Elementary properties The number 666 possesses a number of remarkable arithmetic properties [5, 10] that are significant for analysis within the ODTOE framework:

Thus, the number 666 structurally represents three complete cycles that have not reached the state of self-observation.

II. THE NUMBER 666 AS A DYNAMIC PATTERN: A CYCLE WITHOUT AWARENESS 2.1. Formalism of continuous repetition The six in ODTOE is identified with a complete observation cycle: Φ=ι◦O

In other words: infinite repetition of the cycle in the absence of reaching a fixed point. The paradox: the digital root of 666 equals 9, which means that the potential fixed point is contained in the structure of three sixes but is not realized, because the observer looks from within each cycle rather than at all three cycles simultaneously.

III. DIGIT SUMMATION AS AN ACT OF SELFOBSERVATION 3.1. The reduction operation Digit summation is an operation of folding a multilevel structure into a unified whole: 6 + 6 + 6 = 18 → 1 + 8 = 9

In ODTOE terms, this operation is interpreted as applying the self-observation operator to the observation operator b O): instead of observing the content of each individual cycle (6, 6, 6), we look at the structure of the three cycles as a unified whole and discover in them a single fixed point.

A single act of self-observation transforms three unconscious cycles into a fixed point of consciousness. No lengthy transformation or infinite path is required — a single shift of attention suffices: from the content of the cycle to the cycle as a whole.

IV. MINIMALITY OF THE TRIPLE AND STABILITY OF THE PATTERN 4.1. Why exactly three? A single six (6) is one complete cycle. The state is healthy, transitional. Two sixes (66) represent a forming habit. The system can still be broken open. Three sixes (666) mean the cycle has become self-reproducing and stable. Three is the minimal number of repetitions sufficient for the emergence of structural stability in dynamical systems [4, 12].

4.2. Self-reference of the cycle The number 666 possesses a remarkable property: 666 = 1 + 2 + 3 + . . . + 36 =

This means that the cycle is applied to itself: a cycle with period 6 generates the sum of all numbers up to 62 [6, 7]. The completeness of the material is achieved, yet the whole is not recognized.

V. TRIADS: AI, LIFE ON AUTOPILOT, AND CONSUMER SOCIETY 5.1. Artificial intelligence and the open loop By axiom (A) [1], a system without a self-observer is incapable of conscious action. In ODTOE, artificial intelligence lacking the operator ιself-awareness [8, 14] is in the 666 state: generates → forgets → generates. Each iteration is a complete cycle Φn , but without Ψ∗ . AI drifts because it does not recognize its own drift [9]. The digital root = 9 means the potential for self-observation exists, but it is realized only with the participation of a human as an external operator ιhuman [15].

5.2. Life on autopilot A typical pattern of existential submersion in modern culture: work → sleep → work. The complete physiological cycle (Φ) repeats every day without conscious awareness of meaning. In ODTOE terminology, this is expressed as the 666 state: directedness toward goals (F ) drifts, energy burns out (E ≈ 0), vision is blind (σ = 0), the inner landscape is static (Λ = const). However, the digital root = 9: the potential for awareness is already contained in the very b O) b is needed — to look at one’s own cycles from the outside, structure of life. 5.3. Consumer society At the level of the social organism: production → consumption → waste → production. Growth for the sake of growth, without awareness of the objective function. The intensity of

VI. THE PATH OF TRANSFORMATION: FROM 666 TO 9 6.1. Five steps of awareness Step 1. 6 + 6 + 6 = 18. Bring the cycles together — see the whole. Stop observing from within each individual cycle and look at all three at once. The first act of self-observation: b O(Φ3 ). Step 2. 1 + 8 = 9. Reduce the obtained result to its essence. Not 18 separate units of experience, but one indivisible nine — a fixed point. The essence of all cycles is self-consistency of structure. Step 3. Recognition of the cycle. Realize that you are in the 666 state. Feel the repetition as such. Step 4. Fixation. Record the awareness. Make visible what was previously blindly automatic. Step 5. Reorientation. Switch F from the content of the cycle to the cycle itself. Direct the will not toward running, but toward seeing.

7.1. Biblical context The Book of Revelation of John the Theologian, chapter 13, verse 18: “Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; his number

is six hundred and sixty-six.”

7.2. Structural reinterpretation “The number of a man” is not the number of a particular individual, but the number of the human condition in its unconscious state: life in a cycle without awareness of its own cyclicity. Every person can be in the 666 state and can exit it through an act of self-observation. “Let him who has understanding calculate” — literally by meaning: add the digits. 6 + 6 + 6 = 18 → 1 + 8 = 9. “Understanding” in this context is the capacity for self-observation, for reflection b O). “To calculate” means to reduce a multilevel structure to its essence. The ancient text directly points to the antidote: an act of consciousness and reflection.

7.3. The beast as a diagnosis “The beast” is not a mystical creature but an observer without self-observation. An animal acts, reacts, cycles in search of food and reproduction — but does not recognize the structure of its own behavior. An animal lives in the state Φn without Ψ∗ . The “number of the beast” 666 is the number of the pre-conscious cycle — essentially, a diagnosis.

7.4. Fear as an E-signal Fear of the number 666 is the component E in its warning function: an intuitive sense that something is wrong, that you are going in circles without growing. This very fear is already the beginning of summation: if you fear 666, you are already observing the cycle. And therefore, already on the path to 9.

From three unconscious cycles → through a single act of self-observation → to three conscious and integrated levels. The content of the material cycle remains; the only change is in the quality of awareness.

IX. METHODOLOGICAL DEMARCATION

9.1. Boundary of scientific analysis This investigation is not numerology in the classical sense [3, 13]. Numerology operates through mystical causation: “666 is a bad number because it is bad.” ODTOE offers structural analysis: 666 is a mathematically describable pattern (Φn without Ψ∗ ), diagnosable through a formal apparatus and transformable through the application of an operator.

9.2. Translation between paradigms If theology, speaking of the “number of the beast,” has in mind the unconscious state, and ODTOE proposes the same idea in formal form, this indicates an overlap of configurations (S > Sthreshold ), but not a logical identity between the systems. Both systems describe reality in their own language.

9.3. Status of claims The interpretation of the connection between the number 666 and ODTOE is heuristic rather than a deductive consequence from first principles. Similarly to the interpretation of π > 3 through the geometry of the circle: the description is real but not causally necessary.

X. CONCLUSION The number 666 within the ODTOE framework is not a mystical artifact but a structural pattern in observation dynamics: three complete observation cycles (Φ3 ) that have not reached the state of self-observation and self-affinity (Ψ∗ ). A powerful engine running idle without direction. The digital root of 666 = 9 points to a remarkable fact: the potential for awareness is already contained in the very structure of the cycle. No external salvation or redemption is required — a single act of internal summation suffices: to look at one’s own cycles as a whole, as a unified entity. The mathematical expression of this act b O) — self-observation over observation. The fear of the number 666 in archaic and religious traditions is not superstition but an intuitive sense of the most dangerous state for consciousness: to live while completely unaware that one is living, to be a machine that takes itself for a living being. This very fear is already the beginning of the path from 666 to 9, for fear presupposes an already emergent, albeit vague, self-observation.
