The ODTOE Project Five — a team-role model
What's Your Natural Role?
Every stable project team has five complementary roles. Each person has one dominant role — it corresponds to the strongest component of the coherence formula B = F·E·(1−σ)·Λ. Rate 10 statements (1 = not at all like me, 5 = exactly like me) to find yours.
I easily hold the big-picture goal in mind, even when everyone else is buried in routine.
I'm usually the first to ask "why are we even doing this" when the team discusses a task.
I quickly spot patterns and connections where others just see chaos.
I enjoy breaking a complex system down into clear parts and diagrams.
I find it hard to just keep discussing — I want to go make a first version.
I get more satisfaction from a finished result than from the planning process.
I'm usually the first to notice that a plan won't survive contact with reality.
I'm comfortable being the one who says the uncomfortable truth about what isn't working.
I make sure everyone in the group gets a chance to speak, even if I stay quiet myself.
Keeping the team whole matters more to me than pushing my own solution through.
