Operator of Observation (Ô)
Definition
The operator of observation Ô is the action by which an observer actualizes a configuration C from the potentiality field Ψ. The fundamental ODTOE axiom is R = Ô(Ψ); the self-observation loop Φ = ι ∘ Ô closes reality back on itself.
Formula
Details
Iterating Φ yields the strange-loop structure that generates time, space and matter. The deconfiguration operator D̂ is the inverse: it returns a configuration back into Ψ, as exemplified by black holes.

Observer (ODTOE)
In ODTOE an observer is any object parametrized by the triad (B, A, H) — cognitive coherence, attention/action and history — capable of applying an observation operator Ô. Observers range from quarks (d<0) and atoms (d=0) to cells, humans and collective clusters.
Self-Observation Fixed Point
The self-observation fixed point Ψ* is the unique stable state satisfying Ψ* = Φ(Ψ*), where Φ is the self-observation map. Schauder's theorem guarantees its existence and Banach's contraction theorem its uniqueness, closing the bootstrap problem of how an observer can constitute itself without pre-existing.
Strange Loop
A strange loop in ODTOE is a self-referential cycle Φ = ι ∘ Ô in which the observer observes its own observation. Time, space, atoms and consciousness all arise as iterations of strange loops; an atom is the elementary strange loop (proton, neutron, electron) and time is its iteration counter.
Black Hole as Deconfiguration Operator
A black hole in ODTOE is not an object that curves spacetime but the ultimate deconfiguration operator D̂ — the inverse of Ô — that returns configurations back into the potentiality field H. The event horizon is the boundary where configuration inertia I(C) → ∞; the information paradox is resolved naturally because information returns to H, and Hawking radiation is spontaneous re-actualization.

Origin of the Observer in ODTOE: Existence Theorems for the Self-Observation Fixed Point

The Intrinsic Rest Frame of Light in ODTOE: Projective Identity 0≡∞ on the Φ-Iteration Spectrum
Theorem 1: on the spectrum of Φ-iteration frequencies, points ν_Φ=0 (light in own rest frame) and ν_Φ=∞ (light everywhere simultaneously) are identical, forming projective point [0:1]∈RP¹. Speed of light c=r₀/τ₀ is unique continuous extension. Key premise: τ₀ calibrated INDEPENDENTLY of c via P2 inertia formula. Resolves paradox «light stands still ↔ light is everywhere».
